Artist Theo Ponchaveli painted the Selena mural on the exterior of his studio space as something of a peace offering to the Oak Cliff community when he moved in a year ago. He has since added Prince’s likeness to the building, and, just hours after hearing about Muhammad Ali’s passing, began painting a mural of the champ at 3 am, until rain shut him down. 914 W.
